My Ph.D. research was primarily focused on investigating the importance of non-linear
rheology and 3D flow on thermal structure and mineral fabric development in the mantle wedge.
These investigations provide insights into the origin of the pattern of seismic anisotropy
and intermediate depth seismicity observed in subduction zones.
Investigating subduction zone processes requires input
from a broad range of fields in the geosciences. My past and present collaborators
