Poster Printing from Computer Files
The Department owns a Hewlett Packard DesignJet 800PS large-format printer. It is available on a recharge basis through the Media Consultant. See the current price list for details.
The DesignJet is a roll-fed inkjet printer with a maximum paper width of 42 inches, and a maximum image area of 41 inches wide. At this time we are carrying only the matte-surface paper in two weights.
This printer will also accept sheet media up to the thickness of "railroad board". Special papers should be tested in advance of need for compatibility and their effect on color.
